Young Lyonne is a recording artist, songwriter, and artist manager from Queens, NY. His work holds credits from Empire and Sony, and he furthers his skills at the NY Performing Arts Academy – within the top performance schools in the world. He currently runs with the ‘Medixi’, a music collective that he co-founded. From organizing charity events to teach kids more about the music business, to booking/organizing shows of about 400 people at SOBs Manhattan, Young Lyonne is one of the smartest and talented rappers in the underground rap scene.
The millennial from Southside Jamaica, Queens takes as much inspiration from the area’s legends, like 50 Cent and Nicki Minaj, as he does his peers in the underground hip hop scene. Everyone’s trying to be different. Young Lyonne breaks all barriers on his ‘1144’ project, and is unafraid to dive deep into genres other than hip hop and mix it into a street vibe. On the three tracks, Young Lyonne shows off his versatility and ability to bring other artists together to paint three completely different worlds that are still glued together by hip hop.
